Tis the Season ...

Snow ... Snow ... Snow! Not to long ago, our yard was turned into a Winter Wonderland. The kids wasted no time at all throwing on hats and mittens to get out in the white fluffy goodness. And although, I can't say that I am a huge fan of the cold that comes along with that white stuff ... I have to admit, seeing the snow covered ground is quite beautiful.

Seriously ... this looks fabulous cooked ... however, a raw turkey not so fabulous looking. I made my first Thanksgiving turkey this year. My oldest son nearly fell to the ground laughing as he watched and listened to me. I opened up the packaging on the turkey to find a real little turkey. His little legs were tucked so neatly inside his belly ... I almost died a little as I pulled them out and positioned them in the pan. All to soon, this poor little turkey and I became best friends. It was a sad, sad day ... after he was all cooked and looking yummy, I couldn't even eat ... I just pet his little leg telling him how sorry I was for baking him in my ove. Ok, maybe that was a little over the top ... I admit it, I am just kinda silly like that.

With all the fabulous food, my child could still not be pulled away from texting ... I don't think he gets that from me ... REALLY!

Then we have little Jaida ... she just couldn't get enough of those potatoes!

After dinner, time to look through the ads for a little Black Friday shopping!! Check out Lyssa back there, the shopping gene is just born into our family, we start them young!

And our first Christmas celebration of the year ... Noah's Christmas program at school. Although Noah does go to a public school, I LOVE how they still keep the true meaning of Christmas ever present in their Christmas Programs.
