Happy 50th Anniversary Jack and Jean

Tonight I had the amazing opportunity to take pictures at a 50th Anniversary party. A 50th anniversary party is amazing enough BUT to see how much love was still shared between this couple was simply beautiful. After all these years, I can honestly say that I feel they are more in love with each other today than the day they were married. I know that is such a "movie line" but I whole heartedly believe it is true. I feel so honored to be a part of this very special day.

Here is the Happy Couple after 50 years!!!

When I asked what their secret was, Jean said, "I really don't know!" Jack said, "She is just really good at putting up with stuff, I don't know how she put up with me for so long."

I always tell my kids they are never to old to give their mom a kiss and hug ... this picture proves it!

This is one great lookin' family if I do say so myself!

And of course ... the beautiful girls!

Mom, her 3 beautiful daughters and their handsome boys ... love this pic!

Whenever Amy and I are doing weddings, one of the things that we love the most are the slide shows and old photo albums ... her is a quick shot of grandma and grandpas orginal wedding pictures taken 50 years ago! They are one good looking couple!

And the cake cutting ...

This was a very emotional part of they day ...

I feel so honored to be a part of this very special day. The love that was felt during the entire day was amazing. I wish you all the best and I hope and pray that in 10 years I will be able to photograph your 60th anniversary. My thoughts and prayers are with you all ... and Grandma ... you look amazing, beautiful!! Obviously you have a little more experience now then you did back when you orginal wedding pictures were taken but you are still just as beautiful as you were 50 years ago.
